RIP 190 Bowery.
I took this photograph a few weeks ago on one of the days movers started to clear out the building but before they started removing all the graffiti.In case you’ve never heard the story, photographer Jay Maisel bought the entire building in the 60s for $100,000 and has lived there with his family ever since. Maisel recently sold the building for $55 million.
